Good afternoon, everyone!
The topic of my speech today is“Stop War and Keep Peace”.
As is known to all, human history is filled with wars. In many cases, wars are a result of people's hate and losing their reason. Wars do great harm to our world. First of all, they take away many lives and bring many sufferings to people. Secondly, wars mean a great blow to the economy of countries at war. People there always live in poverty after a war. Thirdly, wars also cause great damage to the environment because of the serious pollution they produce.
In a word, we have everything to lose and nothing to gain from wars. It's time to say No to war. If we can stop war and keep peace forever, our world will become a better place to live.
Thank you for your listening!
