Captain Miller: I think Captain Miller is the main character because even though the name of the movie is called “Saving Private Ryan” I think this movie is about how the soldiers try to find Private Ryan under the orders of Captain Miller. James Ryan: Private Ryan is the second most important character because the film is all about other soldiers trying to save him and what happened on the way to find him.Hitler: I think Hitler caused the war because, if he wasn’t there, then none of Ryan’s brothers would have died and the soldiers wouldn’t have to look for him.Abraham Lincoln: I put him on the list of main characters because I think Abraham Lincoln is a great example of what the Chief of Staff should do when some families lost too many family members and the Chief of Staff should follow Lincoln’s good example to avoid the same tragedy.Private Ryan’s mother: the Chief of Staff was trying to avoid breaking an old lady’s heart by saving her last son. 3) Three points that are accurate (true) in the movie about the historical period in question.a) This was a tough time and there was a shortage of food so people had to eat whatever they could find. The film showed the soldiers eating food off the ground because they were so hungry.b) The tanks and guns they used were suitable for that time period. So, most of the equipment was typical for that time.c) The friendship between those soldiers was true because if someone was dying others would complete their last wish.
