Lucky money is always one of the reasons why Chinese New Year is my favorite holiday.Usually,ones parents or elder relative give children a red pocket with some aupicious character like "Fu",which means luck in Chinese or "Xin" which means Congratulations.This year,I got several red pockets; the biggest one was from my parents which contained 8800 yuan,(8 is a lucky number in Chinese means wealth).However,until now,I stilldon;t have a specific plan for how to spend it,because 8800 yuan really means a lot to me.I am going to save it for some future use,like college tuition or for school contribution money.
