还是上面的说法都不对呢?
其实自己不明白的是:
1.用area,areas,region,还是regions?
2.用定冠词the吗?什么情况下用the,什么情况下不用the呢?一直也没搞明白!望各路豪杰相助!

用 region 比 area 好 .region 是 整 个 区 域 ,area 是 较 小 的 地 区 .美 国 的 中 西 部 是 the Midwest,但 那 是 一 个 约 定 俗 成 的 名 称 .我 觉 得 内 蒙 古 中 西 部 最 好 翻 成 the middle and western regions of Inner Mongolia.如 果 要 说 西 部 靠 进 中 心 地 带 则 是 the midwestern area of Inner Mongolia.
