The second Sunday of May is Mother's Day.I always give Mom gifts because Mom works so hard for our family.I love her so much.
Before Mother's Day,I wanted to give Mom a special gift.What should I give Mom,a card or some flowers?But they were not special enough.
On Mother's Day,Mom and Dad went to work.After they left,I suddenly got an idea.I would cook a wetern dinner for Mom.Then I went to the market and bought some beef,some eggs,some break,some vegetables and some fresh fruits.I made some pieces of steak,some sandwiches,fruitsanlad and vegetable soup.
Everything was just OK when Mom and Dad came home.They were very surprised.We sat at the table and had dinner together.Mom said it was the most delicious dinner she had ever had.I saw tears in Mom's eyes.Then I understood that the best gift was love and thanks.
