这段话的最后一句中,为什么打引号的那两个地方是用a,而不是用the呢?

这里其实都用the或都用a 都是可以的.若用a则表示泛指,一个,同时也表明,不只一个脏杯子,一个干净杯子,还有其他脏的和干净的.若用the,则表示特指,这个,那个,同时暗示只有两个杯子,一个干净的,一个脏的.
2.同第一题类似,用the表示特指,只有两本杂志,一本大的,一本小的.也可以用a,比如是在报刊亭,老板会问,a big one or a small one.tie也类似,用a 泛指,表示有很多条供选择（哪怕只有黄色和绿色,可是两个颜色的领带应该都不只一条）.也可以用the,表示黄色和绿色都只各一条.
