英语作文:如果没有电脑,我们会怎么样?(说明文)
We have grown so dependent on this wonderful machine--and that's a good thing! I'm not complaining! Despite being more well known as a business machine, I find the computer to be highly conducive to creativity. I can't imagine going back to pencil and paper, with no computers. My life would definitely be worse.
The communication access that the computer provides, the instantaneous access to news and events--don't make us go back to the time before! It has opened up the entire world to us, from small town USA to the jungles of Africa and the far reaches of Asia...how could we ever go back to life before computers? I would think that pretty much the world would fall apart, as so much is dependent on them now--our cars, our businesses, our travel, etc.
I'm sure I could always find things to do with out my computer; but I would have less access to research, less business opportunities, and would have to change my entire business set up! Actually, I probably wouldn't really have a business, as my is pretty much an online business.
So I guess I would have to "diversify" myself even more. And it would be a lot more work. Gosh, I couldn't even take digital photos any more, I guess, another passion of mine...I would say life without computers would be very sad for me...so yes, my life would be worse.
