Essay in Rain
One day I took a walk in the rain,alone and without an umbrella.It was because of my romanticism,which made me feel joyful.However,as the rain was getting harder,a feeling of melancholy came without reasons.I just walked and walked,didn’t know where to go.
Soon I saw a vagrant artist standing by the sidewalk,he was playing the guitar and singing a song I didn't know.People just hurried by,nobody paid attention to him.However,he kept his own show and devoted himself in his own word.It seemed like he didn't care about the takings at all,though,he looked pinched with cold and hunger.He was really absorbed in performing,it made me feel every step that the passers-by took accompanied with his chord,and the raindrops dropped on the ground sounded like heartfelt applauses.He almost shivered because of the cold,but still tried to sing every word clearly.
The sight touched me deeply.By the time he stopped,I was moved to tears.I couldn't help thingking he was a real musician,he has got a sweeter song than everybody else did,more important,it was the most beautiful thing in the world.Then I just went on walking,felt the music around,and tried to find a way back..
