应县木塔位于山西省应县城内西北角，是我国现存最早最高的木塔，全塔没用一根钉子。
建于1056年，塔高67.31米，底层直径（diameter）30.27米。高九层，五个明层，四个暗层。
应县木塔历尽沧桑，遭受过无数次自然和人为的破坏，但它至今仍然巍然屹立。

Yingxian wooden tower is located in the northwestern corner of Yingxian,Shanxi Province. It is the oldest and highest wooden structure in China. Built in 1056, the tower is 67.31 meters tall and 30.27 meters at the bottom in diameter. The tower appears as a five-storey structure while in fact it has a total of nine stories with four hidden inside. Although built without the use of nails, the entire structure is solid enough to have survived many natural disasters and human destruction.
