Scientists think that a game like bowling was played in Egypt thousands of years ago. Toys that look like a ball and bowling pins were found buried（埋）with a child who died around 52O0 BC.

Then,in 1916,a woman's group named the Women's International Bowling Congress( WIBC)made a point of showing that the game was fine for both men and women.
