fixture type,because the route of checking some features
may pass other features; thus,it is impossible for
checking all features of a car door with one checking fixture For example,a checking fixture used for measuring the
concentricity of up and down gemel fixed holes of the door
is not the same as a checking fixture used for measuring the
surfaces of the door and door framework.So for specified
checking features of a car door,the approach of STNNCF
applied to selecting type of checking fixture is feasible.
A car door is showed in Fig.2.Concentric parameters
and data in a coordinate system need to be measured.
Referring to Table 1,a part feature’s vector as an input of
STNNCF is (0,1,0,0,2,1,1) according to the specified
checking requirement and workpiece features.After training
STNNCF with examples generated from the performance
matrix in Table 3,automobile door checking fixture
type is selected by the trained STNNCF.The output of
STNNCF is close to an ideal output vector (1,0,0,0),which
means that a measuring fixture is selected.This result is the
same as the solution of the human designer.
