答疑如下： Should Scotland remain or leave the Uk? This is the question that Stottish people have been facing recently. Maybe they think the partnership hasn’t been as fruitful in recent years. Just as the articles reports, more Scots are reluctant to break away although support for independence has risen this year.
Personally, I hold the point of view that Scotland should stay in UK. There are several reasons. First of all, with its long history and cultural mixture, it’s difficult to seperate. Besides, as a whole country, they can support each other both economically and politically. Scotland would be better off remaining part of Britain. Last but not least important, the UK remains one of the very best and most successful countries the world has seen ever. And if there’s no practical reason for Scotland to leave, there must be something wrong with contemporary politics and standards of loyalty. It’s a loss in both sides.
All in all, I hate to see Britain lose Scotland. The UK needs Scotland. Just as the saying goes, “Unite, we win. Divide, we lose.”
