A grounp of scientists were planning to go the countryside to do a scientific research in order to find out that the enviroment of the country had polluted.
这个有这么几处错误:
①that改成whether/if(请问下为什么这么改)
②had后加been(请问这里是因为过去完成时吗?polluted是形容词?那如何判断它是形容词还是动词过去式啊?如果是动词过去式那就不用加been了啊)
③还有为什么find不改成had finded?were不改成were been?这句话里的语境不就是过去完成时吗?

你句中用了in order to表目的,所以你这句话如果这样写会给人两种感觉,到底这些人去调查环境被污染的原因还是去调查环境是不是被污染了.所以你问that改成whether就是因为你这句话说的不明确.我给你改成以下两个句子,你看看自己选一个.
