名词用法I go to the home on foot 错,原因：普通意义的家不能特指,必须说明谁的家.I went to Lily's home this afternoon(对）.你不能说我去这个家,我去那个家.
名词用法I walk to home错,home是可数名词,前面必须有限定词.一般用谁谁谁的家.当然也可以用the home但是后面还必须有修饰语继续修饰,而且有别于普通意义的家.比如the home of those abandoned babies,那些弃婴的家,the home of our football team,我们橄榄球队的家.抑或是home的主人有较长的定语修饰,They come to the home of a cleaning lady and her disabled daughter who,despite the grave risk to their own lives.
总之建议你别老钻语法.应该灵活对待.
