在午饭时间，凯丽和欧玛在外面操场上寻找宝物。在当地的报纸上举办了一场比赛，孩子们谁找到最古老，最有趣的宝物谁就会得到去太空游乐园的双人游门票。KERRY在草地里找到了一枚闪闪放亮的硬币。她很兴奋，并把硬币交给了MR HART，以为可以夺得寻宝比赛的奖项，但是老师却发现这个只是玉米片的一枚赠品。在走出办公室的时候，Matt Thorn
在嘲笑Kerry。
第二天，Kerry来到学校，很多人都在嘲笑Kerry，Kerry佷生气，她既生Matt的气，又生自己的气，她觉得自己怎么那么傻。但是，Kerry在看到Matt拿着他奶奶的旧中国茶杯沾沾自喜时，发誓要找到比Matt的物品还要古老的东西。
Kerry和Omar还有妈妈一起去了公园去寻找宝物，但是什么都没有发现。Kerry很沮丧。在周末和家人野餐的时候Kerry和Omar带着狗去散步，狗突然在一块土地上挖起洞来，但是找到的依旧是一枚硬币。Kerry很生气，想要把硬币扔掉，但是Omar阻止了她，并在老师收宝物时交给了老师。
在比赛时，Kerry意外的拿到了冠军，Matt很气愤。Karry还是用硬币赢得了比赛。
