I have already did several interviews for college and more are coming up.Lots of students feel very nervous about the interviews; however,it's really nothing to be scared or worried about.You may get contacted from an alumni from your college,then usually you will meet him or her in a coffee shop.The conversation is usually very informal and pleasant.You don't need to prepare much ahead of time unless you want to ask some specific questions for the interviewer.Some of them may request an application from you to assist them to write the letter,some may take notes while the conversation is taking place,some may just listen.But whatever they do,the point is you gotta to sell youself.You need to be very honest when speaking because honesty is one of the most important elements that a college considers.Also,you want to pick out the main points of your life that you think will dazzle the interviewer.You want to dress nicely to have a good first impression,I suggest you wear casual business wear.You want to have real good eye contact when talking because I believe lots of words can be communicated through eyes.You want to give a thank you card after the interview,I think appreciation is important for a person to be successful in the world.You can't get everything you want,so feel greatful for this opportunity to do an interview.Meet and talk with an alumni is nothing you need to be afraid of,just be yourself and smile.Believe in yourself that you can get into the college you wish for,your confidence will definitely help to leave a good impression on the interviewer.That's about what I observed from the interviews I have done.I will keep you guys updated for my future college interviews.See ya,guys.Happy new year!
