英文作文 loveformyparent
My mother is a traditional woman with medium height, wearing natural curly black hair, whose face and hands already have been wrinkled with time going by. There is no doubt that my mother is the most pretty woman in sight of me, whereas she's grown old and clumsy and no longer strong , energetic, and powerful like before.
She was born in a quite beautiful village where people of totally distinctive personalities live. Some of them are warm-hearted, some are sophisticated, and others are innocent and silly. Fortunately, my mother inherits the good characters, who is hard-working, simple and gentle just like my dear grandparents.
As most women at that time, my mother married my father knowing nothing about him. All of what she knew might be something like this "he would be my husband whom she would always be at mercy of ". When I was little, I thought the marriage of my parents was not perfect at all because of their endless troublesome quarrels which almost droved me crazy. It always confused me that what's the point having words with each other just for something that are not a big deal. For a time, I even became tired of them and their conflicts and was afraid of marriage. Nowadays, I've grown up, and gradually, I am accustomed to the behaviors of them. Therefore, if they did not stand facing each other, I would be curious about that. Apparently, my mother's marriage is not a fairy tale; however, it's real, warm and amazing. Maybe they are destined for each other. They usually seem to look down upon each other, while when one is ill feeling upset, the other gets worried.
As far as I'm concerned, she's more a mother than a wife. Honestly, she is wholly devoted to us without any complaints or scolds. She takes good care of us and loves us more than herself. She is quite stingy with her money involving her own material purchases so that she still wears the clothes out of style several years ago. Nevertheless, she becomes so generous to us and satisfies our needs as much as possible. There is one thing to remind that it does not mean she's spoiling us. She is so persuasive and makes it clear what we really need and what is not a necessity at all. As for study, she's not strict with us and does not ask too much about that. In her opinion, study is what we should pay attention to of our own initiative instead of being supervised by anyone else. Besides, she does not know much in terms of knowledge from books. It doesn't make any sense. Personally, it's enough that she is our teacher in life. Indeed, I am fond of her way educating us that is wise of her who doesn't be hash to us and let us grow up to maturity without unbearable pressure.
I am very proud of my mother, a great woman in my eyes, who is a simple, hard-working and strong. I have no idea how to impress my gratefulness for her. She contributes to us far mare than what we could see and feel. I wish she would take pride in me someday
