Suppose there is an English Festival in your school every year.

Students’ views on the English Festival held in our school vary from person to person. Some students think it’s helpful while others don’t.  As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of it because of the following reasons. For one thing, English Festival can motivate students to get fully involved in the many activities like English lectures, plays and even culture tours, which can not only let every participant experience the fun and joy but foster their creativity, and improve English skills as well. For another, the festival is a great platform. for students to show their talents and upbeat spirit. Knowing only the book knowledge, students will find it difficult to keep up with the rapid development of the society that pays more attention to the people’s ability rather than the score.
