I wonder if it’s because I haven’t been able to be outdoors for so long that I’ve grown so crazy about everything to do with nature.I can well remember that there was a time when a deep blue sky,the song of the birds,moonlightand flowers could never kept me spellbound.That's changed since I came here.

if引导的是一个宾语从句,这个从句中又包含it's...that...这个强调句型.这里的强调句型强调的是状语because I haven’t been able to be outdoors for so long ,这句话说的是：我不知道是否正是因为是我远离户外的时间太久,才使我对有关大自然的一切近乎疯狂的热爱.
I can well remember that there was a time when a deep blue sky,the song of the birds,moonlight and flowers could never kept me spellbound.
我不敢肯定问题是不是错在这句话上,关于逻辑的问题.上半句没问题,（I can well remember that there was a time when a deep blue sky,the song of the birds,我清楚的记得有那么一个时期,能看到蔚蓝的天空,听到鸟儿的歌唱,）下半句中的spellbound的意思是出神的；被迷住的,那翻译起来就是（
moonlight and flowers could never kept me spellbound.月光和鲜花从来就不会令我着迷）这里我又两种理解,若按他的来就是因为环境优美,又蓝天飞鸟作陪,所以月光和鲜花对我构不成吸引力,是转折关系.
另一种是理解是顺承关系,蓝天、飞鸟、月光、鲜花不都是一类美好的事物吗,作者应该为这些事物非常着迷才对,那never的意思是不是反了呢?最后一句意思是说这一切都变了,承接上句.怎样理解,看个人吧!
单纯看语法,好像强调句型强调because还真是不多见,但语法书上明确说到强调句型可以强调原因状语.
