Our records indicate that you have not yet confirmed your arrival date for the Winter Semester 2009 which begins Jan.2.
If you are not coming for the Winter semester because you are still waiting for your visa or if your visa has been refused please contact us no later than Dec.23,2008.
If you are unable to arrive by Jan.2 ,2009 you may want to consider transferring your paid fees to the Summer Semester 2009.By notifying us of your intention to defer we can transfer the full paid fees to the Summer Semester.
Failure to contact us by Jan.2,2009 will result in the following Refund Policy being applied to your paid fees.
“If a student is refused a Study Permit by the Canadian Embassy,or is unable to attend UFV for medical reasons beyond their control,a 100% refund of tuition will be given,less the $150 application fee and a $100 administration fee.UFV must be notified in writing with supporting documents prior to the beginning of classes which for the Winter Semester is January 5,2009.Students who choose not to attend for other reasons will receive a 50% refund if written notification is received prior to the beginning of classes,and a 25% refund if written notification is received within the first two weeks of classes.Students who withdraw from UFV after two weeks will not receive a refund.”

如果加拿大大使馆拒发就学许可给学生,或学生因医疗因素而无法到UFV报到就学,学校会退还100%学费,但须被扣$150的申请费用和$100的行政费用.必须在课程开始之前(冬季课程2009年1月5日前)以书面通知UFV,还要附带证明文件.学生如果是因为其它因素而无法到UFV报到就学,则可获得50%的退费,但前提是必须在课程开始之前先以书面通知UFV.如果学生是在课程开始后两星期内书面通知UFV,则可退费25%.课程开始后超过两星期,则不再得到任何退费.
