Highlights of My Senior Year

I can hardly believe it,but my school
life is almost over.Prom night has
come and gone,and I've received my
high school diploma at last.It's a
good thing that the exams are finished
.I feel too excited to think clearly!
It seems strange to think that in a few
days time I'll be walking out of the
school gates forever.The first thing
I'm going to do is to take a long
vacation!Meanwhile,I find myself
looking back at my senior year,and
thinking about all the wonderful things
that have happened.I've decided to
write them down so that one day,years
from now.when I reread them,the
memories will come back.
There's so much to remember.One of the
best things about this year has been
working as an arts editor for this
newspaper.I've so enjoyed it!I love
writing,and working on this paper is
my first step towards becoming a
journalist,so this has been a real
success for me.
Something else I've greatly enjoyed is
working as a peer mediator.someone who
helps students to settle problems that
they have with other students.At the
start of the school year,we were given
training in how to do this,and it's
clear that this kind of work can really
help people.I think I'll continue to
work as a mediator when I go to
college.

我几乎无法相信,我的校园生活即将结束.舞会狂欢的夜晚,来了又去.最终我收到了高中毕业证,这是件好事,因为所有的考试都结束了.我过于激动以至于不能清晰的思考.在一些日子里我奇怪的以为我再也不需要踏进学校的大门.我要做的第一件事,就是度过一个漫长的假期~!同时我发现自己在回顾我高中的最后一年.想到那些美好的事情就那么发生了.我已决定将他们都写下来,从那一年的那一天到今天.当我在读反复阅读他们的时候,那些记忆就会又会回来.有那么多的事情需要被记住.今年最好的事,莫过于我成为了一位报纸的美术编辑.我十分享受这份工作~!我喜爱写作,在纸上写作是我成为一名记者迈出的一地步~!所以这对我来说真的是一个成功的开始!另外一件我非常乐意做的事情是成为一名帮助学生们解决问题的 同侪协调者在学年的开始,我们给予他们如何来做这件事的训练,这件事很明显的显示出,我们的这种行为对人的帮助有多大~!我想我会在大学里继续这份工作
