A lovely animal has round head,round ears and a round body.It books like a bear.It is a koala.Its little fat body is covered with soft gray fur.Koalas always live in Australia.The people of Australia love them and take care of them.The mother koala has a pocket in the front of her body.The baby lives in this warm pocket for six months.When it leaves the pocket,it is about as big as shoes.It can climb to its mother’s back while its mother teaches him to find food.The koala lives in a special tree——the eucalyptus.The tree gives it both home and food.Itlikes only the bark and the leaves of eucalyptuses.It eats nothing else.Here are many kinds of eucalyptuses in Australia.The koala looks for food at night and it sleeps for most of the day.How lovely!
