1.Sometimes I have thought it would be an excellent rule to live each day as if we (should die )romorrow.为什么是should die呢,as if 引导的虚拟语气对现在的虚拟不是应该过去式吗?

1 should 的过去式还是should,这里should die 有“应该”的意味,也可以替换成were to die,准确地说都是即将离世的意思
2 be installed前面省略了should,因为前面有urge即敦促这个词.类似urge的词还有suggest,advice,propose等等,这个should遇到它们都可以省略
