I'm sorry I did not answer you sooner,you know I was in the psychiatric hospital for 11 days!Yes,from April 19 to April 30.I had horrible depression and panic attacks!I couldn't move,just lie in bed for 4 days.I prayed constantly my Buddhist prayer Nam Myoho Renge Kyo silently.I thought I would never get better,but I did!My prayer was answered!I will send you some more information about the Buddhism I practice,it is very nice.I know they have information in Mandarin so I'll see if I can get some so you can read it more confortably.
It is called Nichiren Buddhism and is from Japan.It is a lay organization,not temple.The president Mr.Daisaku Ikeda has travelled in China several times and has many good friends over there!
What happened is 2 of my psychiatric medications stopped working,the one for my mood swings ( I believe I told you I have manic depression,severe ups and downs?) and my depression medication.Also my anti-psychosis medication stopped working because due to the depression I was hardly eating,maybe a glass of juice or Coca Cola and an apple,or a slice of bread,and this medicine must be taken with food or it doesn't work.
But I started getting better right away in the hospital,started eating again and got new medicine that worked fast.Now I feel very happy.I saw your e-mail the same day I got out of the hospital and it made me so happy!It was another answered prayer because I prayed hard to hear from you soon and that you be better.
You know Mei,the only word in Mandarin I know is Mei Mei,little sister,and I feel you are like my little sister because you make me so glad,you are a very strong and brave young woman and I am so proud of you.So I'll call you Mei Mei from now on OK?You know my friend Karen Hew Wing,that I mentioned,speaks Cantonese and little sister in Cantonese is Mui Mui,so I have now two "adopted" little sisters!I'll send you a color copy of my favorite picture of Karen so you can see her too.
