Hello,I am USA from Shanghai Open University.The reason that I chose Shanghai Open University has something to do with my family.Since I entered senior high school,there has always existed a dream in my mind--to go to an ideal college after three years.However,on May 2,2010,my father suddenly fell ill and he still can't speak clearly now.Most of the colleges in my city are located in the suburban areas.Taking my father into consideration,I decided not to go to college,and to realize my dream,I decided to go to Shanghai Open University.I'm twenty years old and I love learning languages.I have been studying English for seventeen years.I also study Spanish,French,Russian,German,Japanese and Korean.I love studying languages because languages are the most useful tools for communication in the world.I want to be a good translator so that it could become easier for people from all over the world to communicate with each other.Thank you very much.
