懂定语从句的进!

我们都知道,先行词在从句后面作宾语,应该选which或者that,那这道题中,先行词China带到从句中应该是kite flying spread from China to Japan,Korea,Thailand and India.那么China在从句当中不是做了from的宾语么,那不是应该from which么,那为什么答案是from where呢?

改成from which,能够讲得通,但不太符合英语习惯,而且which的先行词有可能变成kites.
实际上,from where的例子挺多的.
