The winter sun was not very warm as it shone it's weak light over the snow-covering hills and feilds of New England .Fred White was driving his horse home from the field.He was thinking about the good foods that awaited him at home and the warm kitchen which his wife was preparing the eveing meal.The horses,also,were thinking about home and a warm barn .They pulled the sledeasily as they moved slowly down along the road .Behind him the trees and hills were becoming darkness as the sun went down .Fres was happy .Another day of work was starting.
