那两个ed是表示被动态,ed除了表示过去式也有表示被动态的效果,比如说第一个they can be employed翻译过来时它们能够被用到.selected同样,是说被select的combinations,这里employ和select的动作人都是笔者.
下面的那个employing中的ing跟时态没有任何关系,在英语中有一种用法就是动词+ing当做名词来用,当然不是所有词都可以这样,但是这里面的employing就是这样用的,表示“使用”这么一个状态,所以它没有是动词.
