-意思：也,和
-用法：谓语要和第一个主语一致（和as well as后的主语的无关）
e.g.:I,as well as my sons,am going to enroll
2.so as to
-意思：由于...以至于...
-与so that的区别：so as to do sth,但是so that + 从句
e.g.:I don't want to show any upset so as not to worry my friends.
= I don't want to show any upset so that I don't want to worry my friends.
-与in order to的区别：in order to 有“做某事为了达到某个目的”而 so as to 只是提及原因和结果.
e.g.:The terrorists need hostages in order to bargain with the government.
