这道题我选的是A,答案选的是C.一般不是but前有do的时候,后面的动词就用原型吗?但我又记得不用动词不定式的形式,我蒙蒙就选了A了.

答案选的是C.我选的是D,这里的有but什么意思吗?

一般but前有do的时候,后面的动词就用原型.但是那个句型是：...do nothing but do sth.
而这一句,在nothing后面有else,所以就不能选A了.
第二题：
考点是but作关系代词.
but 作关系代词总是用于否定句.
句子的意思是：没有哪个不爱自己孩子的妈妈.即,没有哪个妈妈不爱孩子.
另例：There is no one but knows about this matter. (=Everyone knows about this matter.)
第三题：
would just as soon = would rather,后接从句要虚拟,从句的谓语动词用一般过去时.
所以是you didn't speak 正确.
