John is traveling around the country in his car .One evening,he is driving down a road and looking for a small hotel when he sees an old man at the side of the road.He srops his car and says to the old man ,"I'll show you the way."He gets into John's car ,and they drive for about 12 miles .When they arrive at a small house ,the old man says,"Stop here." John srops and looks at the house."But this isn't a hotel ."he says to the oldman."No,"the old man answers,"this is my house.And you now turn around and go back nine miles.Then you'll see the Sun Horel on the left." Peter went out with the wrong boots ,one with a thick sole and the other with a thin one .As he began to walk,he felt uncomfortable,for one foot was higher than the other,he felt this strange and said,"Is there anything wrong woth my legs today?Why is one of my legs long,and the other short?" A passer-by told him that he was wearing the wrong boots .He looked down and found that it was teally so.He immediately told his man to go back home and get another pair.In alittle while the man tan back with nothing ,"There is no need to change them,"he said,"Thepair at home is the same,one with a thick sole and the other with a thin one."
