● 倍数的表示法
1.表示净增加“一倍” as+(形容词\副词)原级+again+as… 或 twice +(as+形容词\副词原级+as…)
例句：This box is as heavy again as that one.这个箱子比那个箱子重一倍.
Four is as much again as two.四比二大一倍.
A is twice as large as B.A比B大一倍.
*注：这里的again不可以省略,否则意思就改变了,试区别下一句.
区别——This box is as heavy again as that one.这个箱子比那个箱子重一倍.
——This box is as heavy as that one.这个箱子和那个箱子一样重.
2.表示净增加“一半” half +as+(形容词\副词)原级+again+as…
例句：A is half as large again as B.A比B大一半.
Three is half as much again as two.三比二多一半.
*注：同样这里不可以省略again,省略了again,意思就表示“只有一半了”
区别——This room is half as wide again as that one.这个房间比那个房间要宽一半呢.
——This room is half as wide as that one.这个房间只有那个房间的一半宽.
3.表示增加两倍或两倍以上
要表示“是……的几倍”
第一种方式：…基数词（几倍数）+times +as+(形容词\副词)原级+as…
例句：A is three times as long as B .A的长度是B的三倍.
Nigeria is four times as large as Great Britain.尼日利亚的面积是英国的四倍.
第二种方式：…基数词（几倍数）+times+名词+of … (*为避免重复,该处名词若再次出现,可用that替代)
例句：The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.地球是月亮的49倍.
The length of this river is six times that of that one.这条河是那条河的六倍（长）.【该处that =length】
第三种方式：…基数词（几倍数）+times+（形容词\副词）比较级+than…
例句：A is three times longer than B.A的长度是B的三倍.
China is about twenty times larger than Japan.中国的面积大约是日本的二十倍.
4.表示净增的数字或倍数
要突出具体的“倍数”可以用以下三种方式表示：
第一种方式：by+（增加的数字或者倍数）
例句：He is taller than Tom by 6cm.他比汤姆高六公分.
We tried our best this year to reduce the cost by 70%.我们竭尽全力使成本降低了百分之七十.
Its output of cotton went up by 20 per cent.它的（农村）的棉花产量增长了百分之二十.
This building is higher than that one by three times.这幢楼比那幢楼要高三倍.
第二种方式：as+(形容词\副词)原级+as+具体数字
例句：He drank as many as five bottles of beer.他喝了有五瓶啤酒.
Last summer the temperature reached as high as 39℃.去年夏天的气温高达39摄氏度.
第三种方式：数字（基数词）-fold
例句：This will increase the speed six-fold.这样将使速度提高六倍.
I will repay a thousand-fold for his kindness.我将以千倍来报答他的好意.
