Sorry to bother you. But there are just too many things that I cannot understand in Chinese culture. Even though I am not a rookie in learning Chinese, but the most urgent problem in my learning Chinese is about the tones of each word. There are too many changes in the tones and a wrongly pronounced tone can lead to a completely different interpretation. Mmm, it's just too hard for me. Plus, the addressings between Chinese people are confusing too. For example, "Lao touzi" and "Lao daye", aren't they referring to the same old man?
