Jack is always the first to get to school and the last to leave school
老师说这个句子中的定语是to get 和 to leave.请问 to get 和 to leave修饰哪个词?
我觉得the first 和the last也是定语,修饰Jack?
请问正确吗?

在这句话中to leave the school不定式是做定语.
而原话是：
He is always the first （one） to get to school and the last leaves school.
楼上说的对,是修饰one的,这个one即主语Jack

再答：不定词to 后面的动词省略，但是to 一定要保留，用go 还是come 根据说话者的位置而定。
另外其实你的问题很简单，英语里的语法规则没有永恒的定律。
一般情况下，if 引导的条件状语从句是主将从现，没说绝对哦！
补充一点：“主将”指主句用一般将来时，过去将来时等都可；
“从现”指从句用一般现在时，现在完成时等都可。
