Should the University Campus Be Used as Public Parking Lots?
It is said that some universities provide public parking lots for citizens.People around these universities can park their cars on the campus.
Some people are for this practice because it relieves the current parking problem and offers much convenience to the people who have cars.Others think otherwise because more cars running on campus may pose a threat to students' safety.
In my opinion,private cars should be strictly prohibited into college campus.If the campus is jammed with lines of cars,it seems to be a parking lot instead of an academic institute.Even though these cars do not take up student' places for study,the noise and filthy gas from these cars may disturb the teaching and studying environment.So though parking becomes more and more diffcult for some car owners,the university should not share its big campus just for the sake of students.
