1. Professor Lin will have a lecture "How to use our time" at our school on September 6. The lecture will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Professor Lin is a professor at Eastwestern University. He has written many books regarding the middle students' lifestyles. Professor Lin did a lot of research and conducted some surveys among all middle school students. During his lecture, Professor Lin will give us some advice on how to use our times more efficiently. The lecture will be in Room 1001. Because the room only has 400 seats, please be there early in order to have a seat.
Lin教授会在9月6日在我们学校做一个“怎么运用我们的时间”的讲座.讲座会从下午3点到下午5点.Lin教授是东西大学的教授.他写了很多关于中学生生活方式的书.Lin教授做了很多研究而且在所有的中学生间做了调查问卷.在他讲座的时候,Lin教授会给我们一些如何让我们更有效的利用时间的建议.讲座会在1001房.因为房间只有400个座位,所以请提早到以便能有座位.
2. I stayed overnight one day and didn't get up early enough the following morning. So, I decided to take a shortcut to go to school in order not to be late for class. I didn't notice there was a car running toward me when I was crossing the street. The car almost hit me and I was so scared that I fell to the ground. I was lucky that I wasn't hurt. Later the police came and he told me I should follow the traffic rules. I can never forget about this because I almost got myself killed. I realized that there was always a reason behind a rule, so it's better for us to follow the rule.
我一晚上熬夜了而且第二天没有起的够早.所以,我决定走捷径去学校来防止上学迟到.在我过马路的时候我没有注意到一辆车朝我冲来.车子差点撞到我而且我太害怕了以至于我跌在了地上.我很幸运地没有受伤.之后警察来了热切他告诉我我应该遵守交通规则.我永远不会忘记这次经历因为我差点害死自己.我意识到每一个规则后面肯定有原因所以对我们来说最好要遵守规则.
