1.物体在空间的定位
给一个物体在空间定位需要两个或更多实体
Dirven(1993)做了如下分析,他认为at,in,on是最基本的也是最普遍的介词.
At 指在方向上的某个点:meet at the corner
On 指的是一种物理上的接触,必须把接触的地界看成是一维(一条直线)或二维的空间(一个平面)
In 只包含在地界之内,因此需要把地界看成是二维或者三维空间(一个平面或一个立体空间)
Sam is in the room.
空间意义对于介词来说是最典型的.
当介词的空间意义能从物质到精神空间上延伸,这种延伸不是偶然的,而是循序而成抽象概念的.
由空间意义引申的.
如he is in the bed.
he is on the bed.
是不一样的.on可能是躺在床板上,如二维.
in可能是被床单被子等盖着,像三维的.
至于其他的引申,估计得慢慢研究了,但基本上都是从空间概念延伸发展的
