While visiting my grandmother in a small town in Illinois,I went shopping with her in Richmind.Traveling on the way home,we saw a black dog run on the highway.I stopped the car and got out of it.
The dog was small and dirty.When I tried to catch it ,it ran away.Frustrated after several tries,I looked at the sky and said ,"God,if I don't catch this dog,it will get hit by a car and die."Immediately the dog stopped and sat down.I walked over to it ,picked it up and put it in my car.
When we got back home,I gave it food,wate and a bath.Because I had to fly back home the following day,I had to call the Animal League for help.It connected me to an old couple who were looking for a pet.When I took the dog to the couple's home,they fell in love with it.
Now I am happy to know its life means something to someone now.
