Dear Kevin,
I very pleased to welcome you in the name of my whole class to come to China for learning Chinese.
First of all, I want to tell you the weather in Haerbin. It might rain on the day you' ll arrive, so I suggest you to wear a thick jacket because it will be very cold then. Actually, I would say, it's not necessary to take an umbrella with you, because there will be somebody who will take you from the airport to your hotel by car.
I know your goal is to study Chinese at our school, so I have got some advice for you which you might need. I know from my experiences, that it's totally effective to read books in Chinese. You don't like reading at all? Well, that's not a problem, I believe you will enjoy Chinese films. If you have problems with pronunciations, listening and singing Chinese songs will be a good solution and isn't boring. These pieces of advice don't sound like learning at all? Well, in that way, I got my marks in English, too.
I' m already looking forward to that day of your arrival, the next time, we will meet at our school, I guess.
