palm downward在这里是什么成分,主谓宾都有了,多出来个这为什么?

再问： 如果hands are palm可以说得通的话，后半句“a left hand stenciled palm upward might of course look as if it were a right hand”的主语也是palm吗？
再答： 我真觉得是说得通的 但是不知道怎么给你解释…… 如果你看得懂这句话就没什么纠结句子成分的必要了 一般来说 托福阅读真的不需要纠结这个…………………… 我托福阅读是满分但是每个句子单独成分的分析估计也不是很理解的…… 有时候文章都不一定全看懂……
