句子的主干本来是Imaginative works present a moreaccurate and
meaningful picture of human experience than factual accounts present the picture of human experience .
than出现表示比较,需要同类事物比较,前面的比较项是present a more accurate and meaningful picture of human experience ,后面也应该是一个动词加宾语
但为避免重复用do来代替present the picture of human experience 同时倒装就得到原句,不能删
