关于than 比较级成分的问题.

关于副词比较级
我知道,than 是可以做,介词,也可以做连词的对比中网上很多地方讲到了,than me ,than I 都可,但看到比较多的是用连词连接句子.
She is taller than me 口语中较多
She is taller than I (am tall) 记得是可以这样看.
请问
4：形容词,或副词的比较级,than 后省略部分,主语或是句子结构是不是要完全跟前面一致,
5 以下几个例句.
I came three hours earlier than the others.我比其他人早来3小时.
than 这里应该用了,介词比较对象,和主语不同,但算是同一类人,
He got there earlier than we did.他到得比我们早.
这个than 应该是连词,比较的前后结构,成分对等的话 than we did ,是不是相当于,than we got there
上面的句子起码有对比的对象,还有下面几个.不知道怎么来看如
The teacher dismissed the class five minutes earlier.老师提前5分钟下课了.
earlier ,如果省略了对比的对象,那假如还原完整的,怎么来写 earlier than

3 把字写的漂亮些 Write more beautifuly.
4. 应该是吧.He runs faster than me. 可以是：He runs faster.（有上下文时可以省略than...）
5. 解释合理.
The teacher dismissed the class five minutes earlier （than she usually does.).
Why didn't you tell me earlier?Why didn't you pick me up earlier?(后面不需要加别的）
又如：You could have told me about it earlier.(你本应该更早点告诉我）
