Currently in China,everything is changing fast,altitude toward marriage is of no exception.
The traditional ideas about marriage is mainly focus on the stability of family.In the traditional idea,It's highly recommanded to maintain the basic family relationship,althougth some times it is straightly against one's will and personality.However,nowadays,people are more focus on their own life style,and consider more on themselves rathern than the family relationship with another one.Devorce,which was a taboo in Chinese traditions,now,becomes popular.People's altitude towards marriage is rather relax,that if being together would make both of the two parties unhappy,why don't us to end it peacefully,and to seek our happiness with others.
Social changes is of course the main reason for this altitude changing.As far as I am concerned,birth control policy of China is one of the main factors.The only child of a family is brought up with over care from his or her family members,and is sometime too selfish on everything.For them,it's really hard to convince them to give up their personalities and maintain a unsatisfactory marriage.Believe me,I personally agree with their ideas on if the family relationship is unhappy,it's better to end it than to maintain it painfully.However,the reason I doubt on devorce is,if they this this kind of marriage is not what they want,do they actually know what they are actually longing for?
