1.当谓语动词是不及物动词,又不能构成动词短语接宾语时.

14.当宾语前有与主语一致的物主代词,且宾语名词为身体的一部分时.如 He cut his finger.
15.当谓语动词是由have / take构成的词组（have a cold,have/take a rest,have/take a walk）时.如 I had a cold yesterday.
16.当谓语动词是need,且主语是物,后接动名词时.如 My bike needs repairing.
17.当不定式作定语时.如 I have a lot of housework to do./ He wants a house to live in.
18.当不定式作表语形容词的状语时.这里所说的表语形容词即作表语的形容词；所说的状语即修饰该形容词的程度状语.如 This question is difficult to answer./ His words are easy to understand.
