This is a interesting story about sherlock holmes—he is a most famous detective in the word.I like it very much.
One day,a man came to holmes house in baker street.his name is Dr Thorneycroft Huxtable.he is a school’s preceptor.He sent a request for help to holmes.he said,three days ago,the son of the Duke of Holdernesse was kidnap.(about the Duke of Holdernesse,he is one of the greatest men in the country and one of the richest.
When holmes knew the news,he ask three questions.”when did it happen?How did it happen?And why does Duke of Holdemsse come to ask for my helo three days later?”
Dr.Huxtable said,the boy missing on the night of the 13th of May,We knew he wa in his usual school things.At that moment,Heidegger,the German teacher in school was missing too.we knew Heidegger went down the ivy and he took his bicycle with him.
After a day,holmes knew many thing.
he knew the boy was get a letters from his father,It is Duke’s secretary-Mr James Wilder took to the boy.
He knew the boy was in the north of Ragged Shaw near the school,because a gardeners found the boy’s hat here.
So holmes and watson went to the Ragged Shaw,and they found a body,it's dead.it was the German teacher.in the Ragged Shaw,has a Green Man Inn,there is a man called Reuben Hayes.he said,he worked for the Duke once,he don’t like the Duke,but he pleased about the boy.
And then,they saw Mr James Wilder,the Duke’s secretary came to this Inn.He and some people talk about something.
Now,holmes knew anything.he went to the Duke’s office at Holdernesse Hall.he tell the Duke,he knew where is his son and who is the kidnapper.
His son is at the Green Man Inn,three kilometres along the road to Chesterfield.
And the kidnapper is James.he is the Duke’s son,but nobody knew.He just the Duke’s secretary.so he hate the Duchess and the Duke’s younger son.
The story is end.And killed the German teacher is Mr Reuben Hayes.
