Does easier-prepared food improve the way people live?
Nowadays,more and more people choose to enjoy the pleasure which is brought by the easier-prepared food.They consider that they can liberate themselves from the tedious housework and save plenty of time.It鈥檚 has been prove that the easier-prepared food does exert positive effects on the modern lives.
Firstly,before the appearance of this kind of food,human beings have to spend lots of time on preparing the dinner.Someone may argue that cooking is full of pleasure and fun,however,most of people don鈥檛 agree with this idea when they pondering about purchasing the materials,cooking in the kitchen,washing the dishes and the list still go on.For instance,the easier-prepared food may liberate the women from the housework from a certain degree.In a sense,food preparation is no longer a tedious task,at least much easier to tolerate.Such a chance gives them more time to do much more meaningful things,such as shopping with the best friends,acquiring a higher pay job and so on.
Secondly,people have to face various kinds of pressures from the society,such as the family and the work.They have to fasten their steps to accommodate this kind of pace.Under this kind of circumstance,more and more are inclined to adopt easier-prepared food,for the food can supply people with lots of conveniences.For instance,I used to cook the meal by myself and enjoy the meal with the family.However,it may cost me time and energy to preparing the dinner.When I graduated from the university and began my career,I am used to preparing the easier-prepared food in the microwave with several minutes.I can save about one hour compared with the formal way.
On the other hand,when people enjoy the improvement and pleasure,they have to receive the negative effects.The most obvious outcome is that more people become fatter than before,especially kids.At a certain degree,becoming fatter makes people unhealthy and may cause blood and heart disease.Scientific statistics have proved this outcome.At the same time,because of the easier-prepared food,we have less time to communicate with the family members.
From what have been discussed above,though easier-prepared food may bring people with several inconvenience,people would like to choose this kind of food when they benefit from it.In short,the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.As far as I am concerned,I support that it has improved our lives greatly by supplying another style of life.
The 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing,China in 2008.Beijing chooses five friendlies as Olympic mascots.They are Beibei,Jingjing,Huanhuan,Yingying and Nini.They mean 鈥淲elcome to Beijing鈥?The Blue Beibei is a fish,the black Jingjing is a panda,the red Huanhuan is the Olympic flame,the yellow Yingying is the Tibetan antelope and the green Nini is a swallow.They carry a message of friendship and peace鈥攖he blessings from the Chinese to the people from all over the word.

I鈥檝e been reading the 21st Century Newspaper for a long time.As you know,the 29th Olympic Games of summer will be held in Beijing of China in the year 2008.My classmates and I had a discussion on what infection it will bring to Beijing.And here is our answer.There will be some good infections.A lot of citizens of Beijing may study English actively for instance.There will be an advance in tourism.The jobless may get new jobs.And it鈥檚 a great time for the world to know more about China.But there are also some bad infections.It鈥檚 a waste of our resources.It may also bring us traffic jam and contaminate our environment.I think we should put more money on protecting the environment and go to work by bus instead of by car.And also we should economize resources like water and gas.Thank you for reading my letter.

In traveling around China in the days after the quake,I was struck by how the public and the news media initially seized the initiative from the government.Ordinary Chinese are traveling to the quake zone to help move rubble,and tycoons,peasants and even children are reaching into their pockets to donate to the victims.
鈥淚 gave 500 yuan,鈥 or about $72,a man told me in the western city of Urumqi.鈥淓ighty percent of the people in my work unit made donations.Everybody wants to help.鈥
