It is kown to all that parents are our lives mentor.They are also our friends who are always willing to help us whenever we are in trouble.They are always by our side,supporting us,and encouraging us without expecting any returns.All they ask for is we must be happy.Anyway,they are our close people.So I think the attitudes of parents toward solving teenage problems are crucial determinants of child personality development.
There is an old saying in China ,“Not listening to the old people word ,suffer losses before the eyes ”.Parents always think we will have an easy life if we take their direction.Some parents chose friends for their children and urge them to study.But there are also some parents who neglect their children because of work.There are also some parents spoil their children too much.I have read a news about a criminal.He was a naughty boy when he was a child .One day he stolen a needle from his neighbor because of funny .His mother didn’t criticized for his action.When he got older ,he was sent to prison because of theft.There are also an example which about a “Genius”.He was a genius boy who went to university when he was very young ,but his mother had to take care of him when study .He can not even brush teeths by himself.His mother said she did all the thing for him so that he could concentrate on his study.But parents wouldn’t walk with children their whole life,helping them every step of the way.
As far as I am concerned ,a good mentor have to be a good listener,one who is receptive and willing to listen to others' opinions.I think parents should take good care of children but also let them have their own space
